about SnapPerps
you should be able to trade what you can see

why we built it
most people have an opinion about the products around them long before they have an opinion about a stock. SnapPerps turns that opinion into a position with one photo, and puts every term on the ticket before you sign.
our rules
say no plainly: if nothing listed maps to a photo, we say so. a confident wrong ticker is worse than none.
no synthetic marks: prices come from a server-side feed for real listed companies. an object never gets a price of its own.
misses are the roadmap: what people shoot and cannot trade tells us what to list next.

a note from the builders

hi,
we kept noticing the same thing. people know the sneakers everyone switched to, the drink suddenly in every fridge, the phone on every table. turning that into a trade meant working out who owns the brand, finding the listing and moving money to a venue. by then the thought was gone.
so we made the camera the market picker.
a vision model reads the object and can only pick from tickers we list. every answer carries a reason, low confidence steps down a tier, and nothing ever gets a made-up price.
the rest is deliberately a normal perp: one treasury on robinhood chain as counterparty, a fresh server-side entry, liquidation and max payout on the ticket, and 0.05 percent each way.
